Helgi Þorgils Friðjónsson (also known as Helgi Fridjonsson or Helgi Thorgils Fridjonsson) is an Icelandic visual artist born in 1953, living and working in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The Corridor (Gangurinn in Icelandic) is a home art space/art gallery founded by Helgi Fridjonsson in 1980 with the purpose of introducing foreign contemporary art, scarcely seen in Iceland at that time, into the Icelandic art scene. The Corridor has hosted continuous exhibitions from its first opening, presenting the works of many prominent artists from all over the world.
